Do you like to read? Do you want a quiet place to read and maybe meet other readers? Beginning today, there will be a Silent Book Club in room 33 at lunch every week. Come on down, show us what you are reading, and then read with us! Got questions? Ask Ms. Pirnie!
Attention all football players: there will be a mandatory football team meeting, in rm 13 @ lunch today.
The first tryout for the Royal's Hockey team will take place after school today at 4:10 pm at Glenwood Arena. See Mr. Fortin if you would like to attend or hear more information.
There will be Volleyball Club after school today at 4:00 pm in Gym 2. This is a drop-in group for anyone who wants to improve their volleyball skills once a week.
Varsity Girls Volleyball practice today at 4:00pm in Gym 1, with the JV girls following them at 5:30 pm.
Any grade 11/12 students who have not made a Phys. Ed. Schedule must see their Phys. Ed. Advocate today to sign-up for activity blocks. If you don't know what activity blocks are, then you definitely need to attend a meeting! Activity blocks are starting today.
Are you interested in being a part of the WPC Indigenous Youth Leadership group? The first meeting of the year will happen tomorrow (Tues., Sept. 16th) over lunch in room 34. There is a sign-up sheet outside room 34, please put your name down. If you have questions, go see Ms. Capner in room 34 or reach out over Teams. Do you love board games, card games, or tabletop role-playing adventures? Come join Tabletop Tuesday every Tuesday at lunch in the library! Whether you're into strategy, storytelling, or just having fun with friends, there's a seat at the table for you. Pick your favorite game from our collection or learn a new one! The library will be reserved for students who are actively playing a non-video game during club time.
Are you ready to level up? Join the Windsor Park Collegiate Esports Team! Open Gaming Wednesday mornings from 8:00–9:30 AM in the computer lab. Come hang out, play, and meet other gamers! League Practice Thursdays at lunch — sharpen your skills and get ready for competition! Scan the QR code posted on our board (across from the Caf) to sign up. The first Tournament of the year will be Fortnite. If you're interested in competing, you must register with Ms. Jennings by end of day Wednesday, September 17! See you in the game! The first ever WPC Storyteller Club meeting will be on Fri., Sept. 26 at lunch in room 32.
