Awards and Contests

– Submissions are now open. The selected nominee will need to be available to attend the Blue Bombers Home Game on August 1, 2024.
(YIC) – The Challenge encourages youth across Canada to organize into diverse teams of three or more and participate in a three-stage competition proposing a project that will have a social and/or environmental impact. The top 30 teams with the most impactful ideas will receive $1,000 each, with the top team winning an additional $10,000.

$3,000 bursaries for post-secondary studies in French as a second language
Futures Forward
- for current or former youth in care in Manitoba (no age or care status restrictions)
– Awarded to Jewish high school students who are in need of financial assistance to begin full-time post-secondary education at a University, College or other post-secondary program in Manitoba. Deadline: March 31 of any given year.

– - Applications are accepted June 1 - July 15
- Three categories of Scholarships will be awarded to: (1) students in Winnipeg, (2) students outside of Winnipeg, and (3) students who are Indigenous. The winning student in each category receives $500.
– Applications are accepted Feb. 1 - March 31 of each calendar year.
– an innovative scholarship program for young Canadians (ages 15-29) looking to learn new skills for the modern workforce.
– Presented to one male and one female graduating high school hockey player – a $2,500 scholarship to be used towards post-secondary education.
